Sometimes in life things are thrust upon us. Whether it's doing a task your boss asks and you don't enjoy, or maybe it's getting cut off in traffic, or simply having to do a chor at home. However that doesn't mean we need to be upset or impacted emotionally by it in a negative way, because we have the power of choice. Meaning we get to choose our experience of it. -

We walk through life acting as if circumstance controls our emotional state; happy, sad, angry, whatever it might be, but that's not the reality. The reality is we are in charge of our emotional state and we can choose any state at any moment. -

Smiling in front of a mirror or your phone's camera, so that you can see yourself smile is a really empowering way to feel great in yourself. 5-15 mins daily can be life changing. 🙂
